Abstract
PURPOSE:To extract recovered energy continuously, by introducing a gas heated by a high temperature exhaust gas of converter and sensible heat of high temperature slag to a waste-heat boiler continuously after the gas is switched in accordance with the operation period of converter. CONSTITUTION:The high temperature exhaust gas produced at the time of blowing of converter 1 is introduced into waste-heat boiler 3 through duct 2 having dust collecting means 12, and its sensible heat is changed into steam. After the heat exchange, the exhaust gas is reserved in the gas holder 6 by induced draft fan 4 through duct 5. Since much CO gas is contained in this gas, this gas will be used as a fuel separately. On the other hand, high temperature slag is introduced to sensible heat recovering means 7 of slag and a heat exchange with gas, such as air, etc., is carried out. The heated air is introduced into boiler 3 through duct 8 and the sensible heat is supplied to steam, and the air on which heat exchange has been made is supplied to means 7 again by circulating fan 9 through duct 10. Therefore, the exhaust gas discharged from converters intermittently and sensible heat of slag can be recovered continuously and efficiently with a single wast-heat boiler.
