Abstract
PURPOSE:To take out electronic beams which have high current density in focusing condition in such a way that the first and second latticed electrode plates which have perforated hole lines opposite to linear heat cathodes are arranged along the heat cathodes, and the second electrode perforated holes are arranged smaller than the first electrode holes and coaxially. CONSTITUTION:A linear heat cathod 3 which is coated with a heat electrode emitting material 4 is strung over the surface of a metal wire 3 with high fusing point, such as W wire, or the like, holding a settled interval with a rear electrode 1 to limit the directivity and emitting zone of electronic beams. Besides, the first latticed electrode plate 5 which is provided with perforated hole line 6 and the second latticed electrode plate which is provided with perforated hole line 8 are arranged along the linear cathode 3, the perforated hole line 8 made on the second electrode plate 7 is fixed with a settled interval so that the perforated holes on the first electrode plate 5 come to be coaxially, and the hole diameter of the perforated hole line 6. Thus, the electronic source can be taken out by exceedingly simple electrode constitution in the condition of focusing electrode beams that have high current density.
