Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable normal detection of humidity by attaching a heater around a humidity sensor, making the heater operate when the humidity to be detected exceeds a prescribed humidity to prevent the dew condensation on the surface of the temperature sensor, and eliminating the dew condensing before the start of operation in a short time as well.
CONSTITUTION: The heater 2 is provided as an attachment around the humidity sensor 1. When there is no dew condensation on the surface of the humidity sensor 1, the change of the ambient humidity of the humidity sensor 1 into 93%, for instance, brings about the rise of the voltage of a humidity detection signal Sr from a logarithmic transformer 6 to 9.3mV. Since the reference voltage of a comparator 7 is set to be 9.0mV, an output signal is delivered from a time point t1 to make an oscillator 8 oscillate, whereby the 1st timer circuit 9 outputs a control signal Sh to turn a switch circuit SW on and further to make the heaer 2 active. When there is any dew condensation on the surface of the humidity sensor 1, the turning-on of the power source of the humidity detector makes the voltage of the humidity detection signal Sr exceed the reference voltage of 9.0mV since the resistance value is turned small owing to the dew condensation. Accordingly, the heater is made active as mentioned in the above and thereby the dew condensing on the surface of the humidity sensor 1 is dried in a short time.
