Abstract

PURPOSE: To promote flowing-in of grain at the time of grain feeding using suction with for the purpose of drying by putting a suction device connected to draft drying chamber into communication with the grain collecting chamber through an opening/ closing valve installed at the feeding hopper.
CONSTITUTION: A suction hole 15 shall be opened in a partition wall 14 between a draft drying chamber 3 and a grain collecting chamber 4 at its side nearer the installation position of the suction device 13 so that the suction draft acts even on the grain collecting chamber 4. On the opposite side to this suction device 13 about the suction hole 15, a feeding hopper 16 is arranged in communication with the grain collecting chamber 4 through a feeding conduit 17 and, in this communication path, an opening/closing valve 18 is installed. At the time of grain feed, opening this valve 18 puts the suction hole 15 into communication with the outside of the machine, and the atmosphere acts on the grain collecting chamber 4 through the feeding hopper 16, that will well promote the flowing-in of the grain. According to this arrangement, the feeding efficiency of grain can be enhanced without providing particular suction device.
