PURPOSE:To perform a correct speed control and to reduce the ripple of a generated torque by first forming one set or more of an N pole, an S pole and a nonmagnetic pole which give a practical effect on a rotor and then by changing an applied current in accordance with the generated voltage value at a stator coil. CONSTITUTION:On the surface of the internal circumference of a magnetic pole 5, an N pole, an S pole and a nonmagnetic pole having both poles are provided in equal angles and two-phase stator coils 8 and 9 are opposed. On the under surface of the magnetic pole, the N pole and the S pole only are provided in equal angles and are opposed to the Hall element 10 for position detection. On the control circuit of the stator coils 8 and 9, a diode for switching the power circuit and a detection device 12 for detecting a voltage generated at a coil when power is applied are provided. As the voltage generated at the stator coil is in proportion to the correct rotating speed of the rotor, the applied voltage for the stator coils 8 and 9 are controlled using this detected value.
