Abstract

PURPOSE:To stop a rotor at a fixed location and conduct the self-starting of a motor by a construction wherein fixed weak magnetic parts which do not cross at right angles with the center lines of the winding of each phase are formed to surfaces facing to the permanent magnet rotor of a stator with two-phase type stator winding. CONSTITUTION:A stator 3 with winding 10a, 10a', 10b, 10b' consisting of twophase four coils is mounted being opposed to a rotor 5 with a ring-shaped permanent magnet 8 which a N pole and a S pole are magnetized at 180 deg. intervals, and the winding of fixed phases is conducted in response to the locations of the rotor 5 and the rotor is driven. Weak magnetic parts 12 consisting of indentations at 180 deg. intervals are formed to surfaces facing to the rotor 5 of the stator 3 so as not to cross at right angles with the center lines La, Lb of the winding 10a, 10a' and 10b, 10b' relatively generating heteropoles at about 180 deg. locations. Thereby, the zero status of starting torque can be prevented when energizing the winding of each phase because the rotor 5 is stopped at a location where a boundary line 8a, wherein the magnetic force of the permanent magnet 8 is weak, aligns with a center line C of the weak magnetic parts 12.
