Abstract

PURPOSE:To perform the dial display with high accuracy, by providing a dial type display device with a receiver of PLL frequency synthesizer type and driving the pointer of dial scale with a step motor through the use of a PLL synthesizer. CONSTITUTION:Among three outputs of IC for control at a PLL frequency synthesizer, BCD data representing the frequency data BCD of the station to be selected and shift register clock SRC are picked up and input to a shift register 230. The shift register 230 stores the data BCD according to the clock SRC and when input is made completely, the content of the shift register 230 is latched to a latch circuit 240 of the next stage with a latch pulse LPL being another output of an IC107 for control. The data is subtracted at a subtraction circuit 250, the value and the output of an up-down counter 270 are compared at a comparator 260 and a step motor 220 is controlled with this output.
