Abstract

PURPOSE: To gain a maximum torque and a spark advance characteristics wherein no knocking occurs by making one of two triangular voltage charts for determining a spark advance in such a form that an inclination angle of a voltage varies once or more times between a maximum spark advance point and a minimum spark advance point.
CONSTITUTION: One X2 of two triangular voltage charts for determining a spark advance is made in such a form that an inclination angle of a voltage varies once or more times between a maximum spark advance point B and a minimum spark advance point A. For example, pulses generated at a pulser 3 by the rotation of a lobe 2 of a rotor 1 have a flip-flop (FF)4 and a monostable multivibrator multiplier 5 respectively generate triangular signals Q1, Q2 to set up voltages X0, Y in triangular voltage generating circuits 6, 7 as shown in the drawing. In a comparison circuit 8, a triangular voltage X2 is generated which is provided by adding a certain deviation voltage V1 for determining s spark advance to the twice-folded triangular voltage X0.
