Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable a paste having a stable composition to be easily obtained without causing any need of the dehydration or the like of a recycled paste, by adjusting the specific gravity of the recycled paste in a recycle jar. CONSTITUTION:Recycled water which has been used in packing a paste is poured into a recycle jar 1 from the top of the jar 1, and the supernatant of the recycled water is removed through a drainage hole 2 into a liquid-waste treatment jar. After a recycled paste 3 which precipitates on the bottom of the recycle jar 1 is stirred with a stirrer 4, air is sent into the paste 3 from a regulator 6 through pneumatic density meters 5 and 5' which are fixed into the paste 3. The discrepancy between the two pressures that are metered by each density meter 5 and 5', is converted into a specific gravity by means of a differential pressure meter 7. A signal which is given by the differential pressure meter 7 is sent to a motor 8, the rotation of the vanes of the stirrer 4 is changed, and the liquid level of the recycled paste 3 is shifted, thus the specific gravity of the paste 3 being adjusted to be constant. Following that, a given amount of the recycled paste 3 whose specific gravity is adjusted is sent to a kneading machine by means of a pump to be reused for kneading a paste.
