Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a comfortable air-conditioning by detecting the perspiration of crew members and changing the amount of cool air in accordance with the detected condition. CONSTITUTION:Thermal detectors 12-15 each composed of a light-condensing system, a light chopper to chop infrared rays incident mechanically and intermittently, and a noncontact thermal sensor, are provided in an assistant's seat 5, a driver's seat 7. Detected signals corresponding to the deviated temperature from a room temperatur are generated by the incidence of the infrared rays at head positions of seated crew members, and inputted into a microcomputer 20. This construction permits to change the amount of cool air in accordance with the perspiration of the crew members, and obtain a comfortable air-conditioning.
