Abstract

PURPOSE:To change mode precisely by controlling the displacement of a mode- changing door in accordance with temperature of the outside air, blowoff air at the level of a face, and blowoff air at foot. CONSTITUTION:There are provided an outside-air temperature detector 24 to detect the temperature of outside air, a face-level blowoff-air temperature detector 25 at a face-level blow off port 17', and a foot-level blowoff-air temperature 26 at a foot- level blowoff port 18'. Outputs from these detectors are inputted into a control circuit 5 for controlling the driving of a compressor 3, the displacement of an inner and outer air switching door 15, and displacements of mode-changing doors 19 and 20. This construction permits to change mode automatically in accordance with temperatures of the outside air, the face-level blowoff air, and the foot-level blowoff air, and obtain a precise mode-changing.
