Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a decorated material provided with a difference of gloss synchronized with a recessed and protruded patterns simultaneously with forming the same pattern by a method wherein a transparent foaming resin compound layer is formed on a substrate which is colored or provided with the patterns, thereafter, is foamed by heating to form a foamed layer.
CONSTITUTION: A pattern 2 is provided on a surface of a substrate 1. In case the pattern 2 is provided, the pattern 2-b to be a recessed portion is provided with ink containing a foaming promotor. Subsequently, a transparent foaming resin compound is coated so as to make a layer having a thickness of 0.3mm or less, and when it is foamed by heating, a recessed and protruded pattern synchronized with the pattern is formed, further, the recessed part becomes a condition of a cloth while the protruded part becomes a condition of a mat. As a condition of foaming, it is preferable to heat for about 30W90sec under a temperature of 180W200°C. If the foaming temperature is less than 180°C, softening of the resin and generation of gas from the foaming agent become ununiform, while, if the foaming temperature is higher than 200°C, the softening of the resin and the generation of the gas are occured suddenly and sizes and configurations of the foamed cells become ununiform, therefore, such conditions are not preferable.
