PURPOSE:To improve a riding sensation by increasing a longitudinal shock absorption force, by a method wherein a longitudinal ridigity in an upper mounting insulation is decreased in comparison with a transverse ridigity. CONSTITUTION:A rigidity displacement structure 20 consisting of space 20a and 20b provided between the front and the rear is located in an upper mounting insulator 17 positioned between a car body 1 and a piston rod 4 protruding-form an upper end of a start assembly 3. Thus, where a longitudinal shock is transmitted to the piston rod 4 with a wheel applied with the longitudinal shock, the space 20a or 20b is deformed by compression to absorb the shock. Meanwhile, in the case of a transverse shock, the rigidity displacement structure 20 does not actuate, and thereby the movement of the wheel can be felt correctly.
