Abstract

PURPOSE:To satisfy at one time both the waveform distortion and the stability of the sine wave oscillator, by just adding one unit of the EFT to the conventional circuit using the Wien bridge. CONSTITUTION:The EFT10 having the same property as the FET5 is connected in series between the resistance 4 and the FET5, and the polarity of the drain source of the FET10 is made opposite to that of the FET5. At the same time, a short circuit is given between the gate and the source of the FET10. Thus the voltage VGS between the gate and the source is set to zero for the FET10 and the value near zero for the FET5 each for operation. In this case, the resistance between the source and the drain becomes constant at all times regardless of the level or the polarity of the drain-source voltage VDS. In other words, the resistance has a linear change to the change of VDS over a wide range. Thus a linear element is obtained. As a result, an oscillator which satisfies at one time both the waveform distortion and the stability can be formed. The same effect is secured if the FET5 and 10 are connected in reverse parallel.
