Abstract
PURPOSE: To accurately measure the thermal conductivity by performing the measurement based on the integration value of the measured temperature along time in order to allow the measurement to be free of the error of measurement due to the selection of specific times.
CONSTITUTION: The output of a thermocouple 4 in a probe unit 1 is supplied to an input terminal 14a of an analog multiplexer 14. The temperature of the cold junction of the thermocouple 4 is measured by means of an automatic cold-junction compensator 15, and supplied to an input terminal 14b of the analog multiplexer 14. Moreover, the output of the thermocouple 4 is supplied through a preamplifier 12, precut circuit 17 and integrator 42 to an input terminal 14c of the analog multiplexer 14. Each analog data supplied to the analog multiplexer 14 is sent through an A/D converter 18 to a digital input circuit 19, processor 20 and memory 21. Through a digital output circuit 24, the processor 20 controls a thermal conductivity digital display 26, measured temperature digital display 27 and set-up OK lamp 28.
