Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the natural cooling characteristics of the winding of the inductive machine by establishing the number of the coils arranged in one flow-bending section and the mean flowing velocity in the horizontal oil paths in the flow- bending section as specified. CONSTITUTION:The coils are stacked with the horizontal oil paths being provided and the disk shaped winding is formed. The winding is arranged between an inner insulating tube 6 and an outer insulating tube 7, thereby vertical oil paths 4 and 5 are formed on the inside and the outside. Flow-bending plates 8 are provided at every specified number of coils, and the oil paths of the inside and the outside are closed alternately. When the width in the direction of the diameter of the coil is L and the hight of the horizontal oil path is d, L/d=3-35 is established. The number of the coils in one flow-bending section is 10 or more. The mean flow velocity Vcm/ sec in the horizontal oil paths is selected to be V>=3.07X10<-4>q+0.28 or V>=2.69X 10<-4>q+0.24 in relation to the thermal flux density q of the coil surface corresponding to 5-9. In this constitution, partial temperature rise of the coil can be prevented, and the winding can be naturally cooled excellently.
