Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable to switch the tape speed at reproducing automatically into the same speed at recording, by superimposing a low frequency signal on recorded input signal with a switch switched in interlocking with the switching of tape speed and separating a low frequency signal from a tape reproducing signal. CONSTITUTION:When the user sets a recorder to the 1st tape speed S1, switches 6, 7 are closed, and drain and source (between D and S) of field effect type transistors (FETs) 4,5 are cut off, and only essential recording input signal is fed to recording amplifiers 2, 3 of respective channels 1, 2 for recording. When the 2nd tape speed S2 is selected, switches 8, 9 are closed, and the recorded input signal and the output of a low frequency oscillation circuit 1 are mixed in a recording amplifier 3 for recording. Thus, at reproducing of tape recorded, a low frequency signal is separated from the reproducing signal, and this signal automatically switches the tape speed at reproducing into the 2nd speed S2.
