Abstract
PURPOSE: To enable wind energy to be efficiently utilized without output fluctuation by interposing a variable intensifying ratio type hydraulic intensifying mechanism and pressure accumulator between a mechanism for converting wind energy to hydraulic energy and a drive mechanism for a working apparatus.
CONSTITUTION: A hydraulic pump 2 is rotatably driven by the output of a wind mill 1 and pressurized oil from this hydraulic pump 2 is supplied through a hydraulic circuit H1 to a hydraulic motor 3. Then, the output of the hydraulic motor 3 is transmitted to a hydraulic pump 4 connected mechanically with the motor 3. Since the hydraulic motor 3 and hydraulic pump 4 used are of variable volume type, a variable ratio type hydraulic intensifying mechanism is constituted from these motor 3 and pump 4. Oil discharged from the hydraulic pump 4 is supplied through a hydraulic circuit H2 to a motor 6 for driving a working apparatus 7. Oil pressure is accumulated then by a pressure accumulator 8 provided in the hydraulic circuit H2 to absorb pressure fluctuation in the circuit H2. Thus, the pressure accumulator 8 cooperates with the hydraulic intensifying mechanisms 3, 4 to utitlize efficiently wind energy.
