Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce synchronizing capacity of a synchromesh mechanism by constantly connecting a counter gear with a driving shaft.
CONSTITUTION: A minor change gear 2 bears a gear 45 with free rotation allowed around an output shaft 11, incorporates a gear 44 on a driving shaft 39, and connects a synchrohub 51 of a synchromesh mechanism 50 to the output shaft 11. Being thus constituted, the gears 44, 45 and a counter gear 46 are always connected and driven on the driving shaft 39 side, and an inertia of the gears 44, 45 and the counter gear 46 does not influence upon a synchronizing capacity of the synchromesh mechanism 50 during a change-over of minor change gear 2. Therefore, the synchronizing capacity of the synchromesh mechanism 50 can be reduced and said mechanism 50 can be miniaturized, and a switching operation can be performed with a little power.
