Abstract

PURPOSE:To achieve the improvement in analytical accuracy and working efficiency by specifying the end position of a sample sucking probe and communicating the reagent in said probe and the reagent in a reagent bottle liquidly. CONSTITUTION:At the time of dispensing a sample after washing a sample suction probe 9, a change-over valve 3 is changed over to communicate a reagent tube 2 and a tube 6 in the state that the end of the sample suction probe 9 is moved to above the liquid level in the reagent bottle 1, whereby the reagent in a reagent bottle 1 and the reagent in the sample suction probe 9 are communicated liquidly. As a result, the reagent in the sample suction probe 9 reverse flows into the reagent bottle 1 owing to the principle of siphon and air is sucked together with the liquid drops 12 attached to the end of the sample suction probe 9, by which an air layer 13 is formed at the end of the sample suction probe 9. Hence, the air layer 13 is surely formed between the sample sucked into the sample suction probe 9 and the sample, whereby the diffusion of the sample is prevented and the intended object is achieved.
