PURPOSE:To make a voltage changer to be needless and to obtain by an AC generator the same effect with plural generators by a method wherein two or more windings are inserted in a slot of an armature and are so connected respectively as to obtainable desired voltages and obtain two or more voltages at the same time. CONSTITUTION:At an AC generator to be operated as a power source to drive measuring devices 9, 10, etc., being provided for the detection of a physical quantity in a rotor, two or more armature windings 15, 16 are inserted in the armature slots and are arranged confronting with a field winding 19. The armature windings 15, 16 are so connected respectively as to obtainable desired voltage values, and are connected to the measuring devices 9, 10 through a rectifier 7, etc. By this way, plural different voltages can be obtained from one generator without using a transformer, etc., and the miniaturization and the production in light weight of the device can be attempted.
