Abstract

The rotating machine has a stator with axial salient poles, a rotor with axial teeth, an ac winding in the stator slots and a dc winding cooperating with the stator. The stator has a central hub (3) projecting parallel to the stator teeth. The rotor (6) has a central hole into which the hub fits. The stator is laminar and the ac winding (4) is wound around its poles (2).
