Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent mutual interference caused by any device connected to an output terminal or by a false wiring by a method wherein the output part of a meter of electric energy is constituted by an optical device and thereby the internal circuit of the meter and the output terminal are insulated electrically.
CONSTITUTION: The output part is constituted by an electro-optical transducer (E/O transducer) 12 which transduces an output signal W from an integrating part 6 into an optical signal, by a photofiber cable 13 which leads the optical signal to the output terminal D0 and by a photoconnector D0 which is the output terminal. Since the signal W of electric energy from the integrating part 6 is transducer into the optical signal and is led to the photoconnector D0 in this constitution, a testing device, etc. connected with the photoconnector D0 is insulated electrically from the meter 14 of electric energy. Accordingly, the mutual interference caused by the device connected to the output terminal or the false wiring can be prevented by said constitution.
