Abstract

CONSTITUTION: In the heat absorbing part 12, a working liquid in wicks 1 evaporates and passes through a steam passage 3b into the water tank 5. As water in the water tank 5 penetrates through fine pores 6 and comes in touch with the atmosphere to evaporate, the water tank 5 is cooled by the evaporation heat well below the ambient temperature. Thus, since the present cooler does not use any pump, there is no noise and the running cost is lowered.
