Abstract

PURPOSE: To purify waste water continuously by a method wherein a rotary element having magnetic force is rotated in a waste water treating apparatus to subject a solid substance to the centrifugal separation as well as to introduce an oxygen containing gas therein and, moreover, the oxidizing action is generated by the electron excitation according to the change of magnetic flux density.
CONSTITUTION: A spiral plate 4 having magnets 3 attached to a rotary shaft 5 is provided in an interior of a treating apparatus 1 and an introducing pipe 9 of an oxygen containing gas and a gas diffusing port 7 are pierced. To a peripheral wall 2, a waste water introducing pipe 8 and a purified water exhaust pipe 11 are provided and, to an outer periphery of the spiral plate 4, a cylindrical effective plate 12 is present and one or more of a solid substance exhaust pipe 17 is provided to the peripheral wall 2. If the spiral plate 4 is rotated, a solid substance is separated by centrifugals force and, at the same time, an oxygen containing gas is introduced and diffused because negative pressure is generated in the waste water. Moreover, the magnetic flux density in the waste water is changed and the induction electromotive force is generated and suspended polluting substances are oxidized and decomposed by the electron excitation of the polluting substances according to the generation of cavitation.
