Abstract

PURPOSE: To separate pollutive substances in waste water at low cost and to perform oxidation-resolution by treating the waste water by a combination of the cavitation effect and supply of oxygen containing gas which utilizes centrifugal separation through the rotation of a rotor and generated negative pressure.
CONSTITUTION: Waste water is supplied from pipe 5 and solid matter is separated centrifugal forces at the inside and outside of rotary disk 3 and cylindrical porous plate 4. This solid matter is discharged via discharge pipe 9 of peripheral wall 1 and the waste water is transported to the discharge side along slanting arrow- shaped rotary disk 3; and oxygen-containing gas is sucked from intake 6 via rotating shaft 2 with negative pressure generate at the rear part of disk 3. This gas is dispersed and stirred in the waste water to resolve pollutive substances in the waste water by oxidation, and then returned to the circumference of rotating shaft 2 by a difference in specific gravity to be dispersed again by rotary disk 3. Further, cavitation occurs on the surface of rotor 12 to activate electrons in the pollutive substances in the waste water, thereby quickening oxidation-separation.
