Abstract
PURPOSE:To enlarge the series capacity of a tap winding and to improve the potential distribution of the tap winding itselt by a method wherein the connection between the tap winding of shunt circuit side and the tap winding of series circuit side is made to have a specified constitution. CONSTITUTION:A tap winding of series circuit side 6 and a tap winding of shunt circuit side 5 are constituted alike of parallel cylindrical windings consisting of m pieces conductors a-f, g-l winding around n turns in parallel. The series circuit side and the shunt circuit side are wound around in opposite direction. The winding begining parts and the winding endling parts of the conductors a-f of the series circuit side 6 and of the conductors g-l of the shunt circuit side 5 are connected to upper crossing lines 12 and lower crossing lines 13, and are connected alternately in series to give a potential difference corresponding to 4n turns between the respective winding of the series circuit side 6 and the shunt circuit side 5. Connection switching terminals A-M are provided at the outside leading out from the winding begining parts and the winding ending parts of the conductors a-1. By this way, the series capacity of the tap winding can be enlarged, the potential distribution of the tap winding itself can be improved and the magnetic shielding can be omitted.
