Abstract
1,231,108. Current transformers. GENERAL ELECTRIC CO. 13 March, 1969 [20 March, 1968], No. 13209/69. Heading H1T. A current transformer 20 for measuring large currents in a conductor 10, undisturbed by stray magnetic fields from adjacent conductors, consists of a non-magnetic non-conducting core 22 wound with a secondary winding 24 having an even number of layers, each wound over the whole core so that both ends of the complete winding are at A.
