Abstract

PURPOSE:To efficiently manufacture a highly water-resisting coil by a method wherein all component parts are fixed in one body homogenously with thermosetting synthetic resin and nearly whole the external surface is covered by thermosetting synthetic resin. CONSTITUTION:The primary coil bobbin 14 is formed cylindrically and the primary coil 2 is wound on it. On the other hand, the seconday coil split bobbin 15 has a plurality of grooved sections where the secondary coil 3 is multisplitedly wound. This bobbin 15 is inserted to the outside of the bobbin 14 and both ends of the coil 2 are connected to the primary terminals 10 and 11. Also the starting end of the coil 3 is connected to the terminal 11 and the closing end of winding is connected to a high-tension terminal 12. These terminals 10-12, the coils 2 and 3 and cores 8 and 9 are fixed in one body using thermosetting synthetic resin and nearly whole the external surface, excluding the connected section between the terminals 10-12 and the external conductor, is covered by thermosetting synthetic resin 6. As the resin 6 has an excellent adhesive property against a metallic material, the infiltration of moisture can be prevented. Also the covering is formed by only one molding processing, so a productivity can be increased remarkably.
