Abstract

PURPOSE:To supply power to load continuously, protecting an inverter device by a method wherein only the inverter device, whose capacity is little, is separated from a system when an overload condition is generated. CONSTITUTION:Power is fed from a commercial power source 1 and an inverter device 2 to a load circuit which a plurality of load 51-5n are connected through breakers 61-6n. When the flowing of overload currents through the inverter device 2 having little capacity is detected by means of an AC switch controller 7, a switch 4 is broken, and the inverter device 2 is separated from a system. When the commercial power source is stopped and load currents detected by means of a detector 10 are not under an overload condition, a breaker 3 is broken, and power is supplied only from the inverter device 2. This power source device can be applied to a device formed by a plurality of inverter devices as a power source system.
