Abstract

PURPOSE:To enhance the efficiency of filtering and collecting dust which has splashed due to hammering electrodes by installing a charging device between an electric dust-collector and a filter dust-collector. CONSTITUTION:Waste as discharged from a boiler 1 is given ammonia from an ammonia supply equipment 2, NOx in the waste gas is decomposed in a de-NOx equipment, the gas temperature is lowered in an air pre-heater 4, most part of dust is removed in an electric dust-collector 5, the remaining dust is given charge from a charging equipment 6, and the dust is removed in a filter dust-collector 7. The waste gas freed from dust is further freed from SOx by a desulfurizer 8 and discharged from stack 9 to the outside. This system provides charge to dust which is not collected in the electric dust-collector and dust that is splashed by hammering the electrodes, and therefore increases the amount of dust held by cloth surface in the filter dust-collector.
