Abstract

PURPOSE:For removing harmful gas and collecting dust, to provide a filling layer for absorbing said harmful gas on the upper gas course side of an electric dust collecting portion. CONSTITUTION:A filling layer for absorbing harmful gas 12 is provided on the upper course side of the electric dust collecting portion consisting of a dust collecting pole 4 and a discharge pole 5 on the flue 2 side of the inlet of a casing 1. Said filling layer for absorbing harmful gas 12 is made by placing an absorbing agent 13 made of such solid matters as limestone between a pair of porous plates, of which the upper and lower ends passes through said casing to project outside and an absorbing agent 13 supply port 14 and an absorbing agent 13 discharge port 15 are provided on the upper and lower portions respectively. An absorbing agent regenerater 16 is connected to said discharge port 15, and the absorbing agent 13 regenerated there is supplied through said supply port 14 again. The hydrogen chloride in exhaust gas is removed and gas current is uniformed, by said filling layer 12, and dust is removed while said gas current passes through said electric dust collecting portion.
