Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce the quantity of NOx generated and enable stable combustion of the fluidized bed type combustion furnace by controlling the maximum temperature of a freeboard part within the fluidized bed type incinerator by adjusting cooling means on the basis of the value obtained by measuring the temperature at the above freeboard part. CONSTITUTION:In the case of burning heavy oil ashes as materials to be burnt, firstly a predetermined quantity of fuel 3 is burnt in a combustion chamber 2, and the generated heat quantity is introduced into a fluidized bed part 5 together with air 6 of a predetermined quantity by a blower 4. Then, the heavy oil ashes are injected into the furnace from a storage tank 15 through a charging port 8 by supply means 13, and burnt in the fluidized bed part 5 and the free board part 7. Upon this occasion, the freeboard part 7 is divided into three blocks, for example, and the maximum temperature among temperatures detected by the first block temperature detectors 20A-20C, is selected by a temperature adjustor 23, and a coolant adjusting valve 27 is controlled so that the value becomes a predetermined value, for example, 750-900 deg.C. This operation is carried out similarly with respect to the second and third blocks, and the maximum temperature of the part 7 is controlled to a predetermined value.
