Abstract

CONSTITUTION:Inside peripheral electrode 2, leading-out electrode 2a connected to electrode 2, outside peripheral electrode 3, and leading-out electrode 3a connected to electrode 3 are formed on one face 1a of quartz piece 1 by vapour deposition. Inside peripheral electrode 2 has an approximately ring form where no electrode film is provided in the center having large vibration displacement of thickness slip vibration. Outside peripheral electrode 3 is provided on the outside circumference of inside peripheral electrode 2 and has an approximately ring form also. The quartz vibrator performs thickness slip vibration by applying an exciting signal across electrodes 2 and 3.
