Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve visibility of a scale by reading the scale on the rim of a shield plate placed onthe scale lighted with a luminous body in such a manner as to move corresponding to the amount of indication.
CONSTITUTION: The scale 2 is given like an arc on a circular display plate 1 and made up of the luminous body. The scale 2 emits light to the position corresponding to the speed of the vehicle. The shield plate 3 turns on the scale 2 corresponding to the speed of vehicle on the center of the display plate 1. The shield plate 3 comprises a pointer section 3a colored differing from the indication plate 1 and a shield section 3b identical in color to the display plate 1. The scale can be clearly read on the rim 3d of the shield plate.
