Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the captioned bottle made of resin, which has the heat-resisting property and suffers little thermal deformation, by a method wherein a piece made of resin, having a bottom and a cylindrical form, is formed by heating into an intermediate molded article having a trunk of straight cylindrical form and further formed into a bottle body which is a final molded article in the condition of being reheated. CONSTITUTION:A piece 1, as the primary molded article made of saturated polyester resin, formed into the straight cylindrical form with a bottom through injection molding is further formed into an intermediate molded article 5 having a trunk part 4 of straight cylindrical form with a desired diameter through biaxial drawing blow molding in the condition of being heated up to the temperature at which drawing effect appears. Next, under the condition that the intermediate molded article 5 is reheated up to the temperature higher enough than the temperature at which the drawing effect appears and the temperature at which contained liquid undergoing high- temperature sterilization is filled up and not lower than the temperature of 110 deg.C which is set as the temperature of a metal mold, it is formed into a bottle body 6 which is a final molded article through the drawing blow molding, thus the aimed bottle being obtained.
