Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a more quantity of tools and perform the machining of a work complicated with more machining stages, by further providing an automatic tool exchanger with a tool storage magazine to an NC lathe having a plurality of fixed tools. CONSTITUTION:A turret 7 having a plurality of tools is vertically, swivellably and axially supported on a tool slide 6. There is provided a tool receiver constructed only detachably for an inside diameter tool block 11 of the plurality of tools on the turret 7. When said receiver is indexed to a preparation position of tool exchange, a tool mounting drive gear is provided on the tool slide behind the turret 7 concentrically with the tool receiver. Between a swivellable tool storage magazine 12 and the turret 7, an arm 13 for performing a tool exchange only for the inside diameter tool block 11 of the plurality of tools is equipped parallelly to a swivelling axis core of the turret 7, longitudinally movably and swivellably.
