Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable a rubber weir pressure controller having a simple design to reliably operate by allowing one end of a conduit constituting a pressure controller for a rubber weir used as a seawall or the like at a high tide to communicate with a lower part of the rubber weir, while making the other end open at its upper part.
CONSTITUTION: A rubber weir 1 is filled with a gas such as air by a pump P or the like to rise across a riverbed 3 to form a weir. One end of a conduit 4 constituting a pressure controller 2 is communicated with the lower part of the rubber weir 1. The conduit 4 first extends downward, then is bent upward so as to be substantially U-shaped. A container 5 having a diameter larger than the conduit 4 is connected to the upper end of the bent portion of the conduit 4. The pressure controller thus constituted operates economically because it uses the river water as a filler, and the water level in the container 5 permits the internal pressure in the rubber weir to be accurately sensed.
