Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable to raise the temperature of combustion exhaust gas and increase the quantity of accumulated heat as well as raise the temperature of incoming hot air and reduce the fuel ratio of blast furnace by cooling the checker receiving metal piece of a hot air furnace for a blast furnace as needed.
CONSTITUTION: The checker receiving metal 12 supporting the checker brick 10 of a hot air furnace for a blast furnace consists of the grid 14, the beam 15, and the column 16. The grid 14 provided with the plural temperature detecting portions 20a which are connected to the temperature sensor 20, and also is a large number of the branched pipes 19 are provided uprightly to the water sprinkling main pipe 18 provided to the grid 14 to form the water sprinkler 17.
