Abstract

PURPOSE:To make necessary sheet number of copies by poviding a feed means of positioning the hard copy obtained by operating a printing function onto the original platen and operating a copying function with the thus obtained hard copy as an original. CONSTITUTION:The electric signal corresponding to image information is applied to a pin electrode 7 to form a charged lagent image on the surface of a photoreceptor 1. After this is developed, it is transferred onto paper 10 to obtain a hard copy; thereafter this copy is passed through movable guide plates 16 without being discharged to an external tray 15 and is stopped in the specified position of an original platen 1 by an automatic original feeder 17. Now, with this hard copy as an original, an electrostatic charged latent image is formed on the photoreceptor 1 and is finished as a permanent image on the paper 10 which is then discharged into the external tray 15. Hence, by repeating this operation until the copying of the preset sheet number is completed, the 2nd and 3rd copies may be obtained easily from the hard copy.
