Abstract
PURPOSE: To reduce the emission of black smoke and NOx in the exhaust from a diesel engine, increase its output and improve its fuel consumption, by reducing the supply of main fuel to the engine at its operation under the maximum load by a specific % and performing rhe supply of auxibiary gaseous fuel.
CONSTITUTION: When the depression of an accelerator pedal 12 arrives at a certain value, a switch 13 is closed, and the amt. of supplied fuel by a fuel injection pump 6 is reduced by 10W30% by an injection oil quantity reducing means 14. If the switch 13 is turned on, a solenoid switching valve 10 is opened to supply liquefied gas in an LPG tank 7 to an intake pipe line 2 in the gaseous state from an auxiliary fuel pipe 11 through a vaporizing device 8 and pressure regulating velve 9.
