Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent an image sensor from being destructed due to careless operation, by driving a control motor for lens iris in failure, with a power supply independent from a camera-lens system and a control element which is switched at the power failure of the camera-lens system. CONSTITUTION:A relay 9 actuated by the state of a power supply 1 and a power supply 10 which turns a motor 9 to the irising direction in interlocking with the operation of the relay 9, if the power supply 1 is in failure, are provided. Further, a switch 11 which disconnects an iris amplifier 2 and the motor 8 when the power supply 10 is applied, and switches 12, 13 which connect the power supply 10 to the circuit of the disconnected motor 8, are provided. Moreover, if the power supply 1 for a television camera device is turned off, the switches 11, 12, 13 are all connected to the contact (a). Further, a chargeable battery is usable such as a NiCd cell as the power supply 10.
