Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce both the installing area and the height and at the same time enhance the controllability, by securing the orthogonal positioning between the original running paths of the transmission and reception parts. CONSTITUTION:Both transmission part 20 and reception part 30 are sotred into same housing 10, and rollers 21 and 22 which send transmitting original 40 toward the height direction of housing 10 are distributed with a fixed distance secured. Then original 40 is run from the upper to lower direction. The surface of original 40 is illuminated by light source 23 located between rollers 21 and 22, and reader 24 is provided in opposition to reading position 25 set previously to read original 40 illuminated by source 23 and through lens L. At the same time, reception part 30 is installed between the inner face of top plate 11 of housing 10 and scanning optical path 26 formed with the line connecting reader 24 and position 25 of part 20. In addition, recording head 31 is provided in parallel to path 26. And roller 32 is provided with a contact secured to head 31, and recording paper roll 50a is put near roller 32 and head 31 and in parallel to path 26. Then reception recording paper 50 is shifted toward the direction which is orthogonal to the running direction of original 40.
