Abstract

PURPOSE:To stabilize the operation of an induction motor by calculating the primary frequency from the slip frequency signal and a rotor position signal from a simulation circuit and controlling an inverter in accordance with the calculated result. CONSTITUTION:This controlling device has a rotation phase detector 6 for detecting the position of a rotor, a simulation circuit 11 outputting a slip frequency signal as a logic signal, a primary frequency calculating circuit 12 for calculating the logic signal corresponding to the rotating frequency from the output of the detector 6 and calculating the primary frequency with the logic signal and the logic signal from the circuit 11, and an inverter gate controlling circuit 9 for controlling the gate of an inverter 2 in accordance with the circuit 12. The primary frequency is controlled in accordance with the gate pulse from the circuit 9 to maintain the magnetic flux at the set value, thereby operating the motor at an adequate slip frequency.
