Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the overvoltage of an induction motor and the deterioration of the response of its torque by obtaining an exciting current instructing value from the deviation between the calculated magnetic flux value obtained from a signal proportional to the exciting current and the instructed magnetic flux value. CONSTITUTION:The torque currenc command signal It* from a speed controlling circuit 18 and the exciting current command signal Im* from a deviation amplifier 2 are applied to a circuit 21, which in turns outputs the primary current command value of an induction motor 15. The DC voltage of a power converter 12 is so controlled via a current detector 22, a current controlling circuit 23 and an automatic pulse phase shifter 24 that the DC current becomes proportional to the instructed value. On the other hand, the frequency of the primary current is provided by the addition of a slip frequency determined by a divider 26 and the rotating frequency proportional to the actual speed value of a tachometer generator 16 by an adder 27. The phase of a current is determined by the oscillation signal of an oscillator 28 as a reference. The automatic pulse shifter 30 ignites the thyristor of an inverter 14 at the phase being caluculated by a phase command circuit 29 in accordance with the output frequency of the oscillator 28, and supplies currents to each phase of an induction motor 15.
