Abstract

PURPOSE: The titled composition, containing polyvinyl acetate resin, an alkyl (meth)acrylate, an organic peroxide, a polymerization accelerator, a paraffin and a filler, having improved operating ratio, adhesive property, weather resistance and flexibility without requiring heating.
CONSTITUTION: A composition cntaining (A) polyvinyl acetate having an average polymerization degree of 300W800, (B) a 1W8C alkyl ester monomer of (meth) acrylic acid, (C0 an organic peroxide, preferably a diacyl peroxide, e.g. benzyol peroxide, (D) a polymerization accelerator, e.g. N-methyl-N-β-hydroxyethyl-m- toluidine, expressed by the formula (n is an integer 1W3; R1 is 1W4C alkyl group, etc.; R2 is 1W5C hydroxyalkyl group, etc.; R3 is 1W5C alkyl group, etc.) and (E) a paraffin and (F) a filler, e.g. clay, and if necessary (G) a pigment. The weight ratio between the components (A) and (B) is 3/7W7/3, and the amounts of the components are as follows: 0.2W5pts.wt. component (C), 0.01W3pts.wt. component (D), 0.01W2pts.wt. component (E), 50W300pts.wt. component (F) and 0W 10pts.wt. component (G) based on 100pts.wt. components (A) and (B).
