PURPOSE:To enable surface contamination samples to be continuously collected onto a sampling member and improve workability by rubbing the surface to be inspected with a sampling member pressing part through said sampling member. CONSTITUTION:When a filter paper feeding handle 15 is rotated clockwise, a roller 13 is rotated clockwise, so that filter paper 8 is fed toward a winding body 10. On doing this, the roll filter paper 8 fitted on a paper supplying shaft 7 supplies the filter paper 8 by a part fed by the roller 13. Over a given area, the spot where the surface radioactive contamination inspection is to be carried out is rubbed with a pressing plate 5 through the filter paper 8. The sample contaminated by smears is uniformly sampled onto the filter paper 8. When there are a plurality of spots where the surface radioactive contamination inspection is to be carried out, with the handle 15 rotated clockwise, the unused part of the filter paper 8 is contacted with the pressing plate 5, and a similar operation is performed.
