Abstract
PURPOSE:To ensure a stable piezoelectric property of a piezoelectric transducer to the temperature environment, by securing an electrical connection or the like between a conductive member at the side where the positive electric charge is accumulated and a conductive member at the side where the negative electric charge is accumulated. CONSTITUTION:For a piezoelectric buzzer 1, a piezoelectric substrate 3 is stuck concentrically on a surface of a metallic disk 2 with a support 4 secured on the other surface to ensure a flexion vibration. Electrodes 5 and 6 are provided to excite the substrate 3, and leads 7 and 8 are soldered to the electrodes 5 and 6 respectively. Then a discrete resistance 9 is connected between the leads 7 and 8. The resistance value of the resistance 9 must be set smaller than the resistance value between the electrodes 5 and 6. In such constitution, the alternate electric charge due to the electric charge caused by a pyroelectric effect can be reduced quickly to avoid a deterioration of the piezoelectric property.
