Abstract
PURPOSE:To permit to supply mixed fuel of gasoline and alcohol into a suction system in a good mixed condition by a method wherei the fuel in a fuel tank is taken out from the upper and the lower portions of the tank and each of it is joined in a pipeline on the half way to supply it to the suction system. CONSTITUTION:When a fuel pump 13 is operated, the mixed fuel of gasoline and alcohol in the fuel tank 2 is sucked through a lower port 5 and an upper port 8 provided in a float supported at the lower part of a flexible hose 9. Upon this time, in case the fuel is separated into gasoline and alcohol due to mixed moisture when the temperature thereof is low, alcohol and water is sucked through the lower port 5 gasoline is sucked through the upper port 8 respectively while the sucked alcohol and gasoline are joined and mixed in a three-way union 11. In this case, the mixing ratio thereof is set by an orifice 15 provided in the union 11 so as to become a predetermined value. According to this method, good mixed fuel is supplied into the suction system at all times.
