Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent fuel overheating at high temperatures by an arrangement wherein a fuel tank and a carburetor are provided in a route through which a fuel circulates, and a solenoid-operated valve to open at a given temperature or higher is provided on the system route.
CONSTITUTION: A fuel tank 10 and a carburetor 18 are connected through a main pipe 12 having a fuel filter 14, a fuel pump 16 and a temperature sensor 24, and a proper quantity of fuel is fed to the carburetor 18 according to temperatures. Then, the carburetor 18 and the tank 10 are further connected through a return pipe 20, and a solenoid-operated valve 22 to open at a given temperature or higher according to a temperature sensor (not illustrated) is provided on the pipe 20. At high temperatures the fuel in the carburetor 18 is refluent to the tank 10 to lower the temperature.
